Texas, high school track meet left 17-year-old

Austin Metcalf dead after a confrontation with another student,

Karmelo Anthony. What Happened:

Austin, a standout student-athlete, asked Anthony—

a visitor from another school—to move from his team’s tent.

Witnesses say Anthony responded, “Make me move,

” before warning,

“Touch me and see what happens.”

When Austin pushed him,

Anthony allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed him in the chest.

Despite his twin brother’s efforts to save him,

Austin died at the scene.

Aftermath:Anthony, arrested for murder, claims self-defense.

His family’s legal fundraiser has drawn $150K in support.
